Apple has sent out emails to developers who entered the WWDC 2014 ticket lottery. Those that have been accepted will have until April 14th to purchase the tickets.

The tickets grant access to Sessions, Labs, and special events. Apple is also granting 200 “scholarships” to give student coders the opportunity to attend WWDC this year.

Apple will also hold its traditional Apple Design Awards to showcase the best apps of the past year and need not to mention the first day keynote where Apple shares their latest business metrics and “exciting new products”. Apple is widely expected to introduce iOS 8, the next generation mobile operating system for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, and OS X 10.10, the upcoming desktop operating system for Macs. And if the history repeats, Apple will be seeding beta versions of iOS 8 and OS X to developers soon after the keynote.
